I've pushed Mike's patches for  https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=384510 

Hopefully, a new CI build will show up later today at  https://repository.sonatype.org/content/sites/forge-sites/m2e/1.2.0/N/ (one with today's date in its version)

Sascha, if the new build doesn't fix your issue, please open a one at  https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=m2e
