As you may have seen already LSP4J introducing some API breakages for M3 with respect to M2.

I have created gerrit fixes - but due to a developer setup error on my part I didn't get them in on time for M3 so we have some breakages in M3.

It is very late here (Ottawa) now and I need to sleep. I will pick this up tomorrow, but feel free to have a review in the meantime.
