Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the reminder / update! This update may let us release
GeoMesa 3.0 a little sooner!
Cheers,
Jim

Greetings LocationTech PMC.
LocationTech GeoMesa engaged in a successful release review
in August 2019.
In late December 2018, the Eclipse Architecture Council
(with approval from the Eclipse Board of Directors) changed
the EDP such that Eclipse projects may now release for an
entire year following a successful release review. Put
another way... you only need to engage in a release review
once every year.
The PMC, as part of the project leadership chain, may
compel a project to engage in a release review if they deem
what one is required.
Project teams should still create release records.
Note that IP Log reviews are only required when you
engage in a release review. The requirement that all
intellectual property be fully vetted by the IP Due
Diligence Process before included in any release stands. If
you're not sure, you can request an IP Log review and the
EMO will check.
