Events:

- FedGeoDay was fun, and we we had a great follow up meeting with GeoTrellis, GeoWave, GeoMesa, etc... the next day.
- LocationTech Tour - is happening now. Need update the website:
  -- upate for victoria tour stop Nov 8th/9th
  -- update with NYC placeholder Nov 14th
  -- Update SF BayGeo, London, Madrid, SD (maybe)

GeoMesa (Emilio)
- Making GeoMesa 1.3 release for Q4 (update GeoTools 15.2, etc..)
- Abstract out index/query logic for reuse across datastores (hbase, casandra, etc...)
- Not waiting on anything, a few CQs in the mix (but nothing holding us up)

uDig (Jody)
- plan to update to GeoTools 16.0, and submit CQs

Raster Processing Engine (Jody)
- repo is created, need populate README etc...
- Gather interested parties for project kickoff

GeoGig (from email)
- Migrated to RocksDB, submitting a single CQ

General IP Progress
- Thea has reviewed progress of each project with IP team and understand where each is stuck
- There is no more IP backlog for LocationTech, response time is thus down to a couple of days

JTS
- Jim and Martin working on contacting contributors (plan a mini sprint)

Meeting Attendence
- it was great in the DC meeting to see all the progress that is being made, we should be able to do that at these monthly meetings
- hit the email list earlier so we can have a better turn out
