Dear LocationTech Steering Committee & LocationTech Technology PMC

Below is a quick report of where things are at for LocationTech project incubation.

The extra IP team member the Foundation recently hired is having a very positive impact, in my opinion.

In summary, GeoMesa + Spatial4j + SFCurve are very close to being able to do a release. GeoGig & GeoTrellis are not far off either. The underlined items on the list are what is needed.

We'll talk about the state in more detail in today's PMC call at 15:00 EDT.
