Since leshan-standalone is not a production ready DM server, I think no. First step would be to make leshan-sandalone something more rpoduction ready. Today it's a test server.

I think you have a good idea of the current Leshan status: waiting californium release for merging X.509 support, API refactoring for stabilisation.
