[kura-dev] Event driven processing for Driver/Asset

Hi,

I am currently investigating how to implement a new Driver/Asset provider. The driver I would like to implement would use event driven notifications. It seems that the current implement of Kura only allows polling read implementations.

So my questions are:

1) Is that correct? Or did I miss something.
2) Are there any ideas how an event driven source could be properly implemented in Kura. I mean rather than simply internally caching the values and waiting for a polling read.
