Re: [kura-dev] permanent deployment package deleted

Hi Dave,
thanks for the suggestion. I am however installing the package exactly as the article describes, and it then starts at the next system start.

When I reboot the raspberry a second time, it does not start the package as the file does not exist any more.
The entry in the property however remains present.

regards
John

Hi John,

How are you installing the deployment package? Did you happen to try the steps here [1]? If you have tried these steps, in particular the last section, and it is still not working let me know.

Thanks,
--Dave

 Hi,
we are currently testing the permanent deployment of packages (.dp) on a target. The target we are using for the test is a raspberry pi running kura-1.1.0-SNAPSHOT.

The package starts successfully, but it is immediately deleted from the folder after starting. The folder /opt/eclipse/kura/kura/packages, in which we have copied the .dp file appears to be recreated when kura starts.

Can you please help us with this?

Thanks for an excellent product.
