Hi Marc,
will somebody (you?) will come to the telco scheduled for 10 o'clock? I am
waiting in the line since a few minutes, but nothing happens...
Please give me a ring or message on Skype, when you're ready...
Best regards,
Florian

Betreff: Telco Meeting Organisation
Hi all
Telco phone information : call +33 1 72 15 06 85 , then enter code #5030 .
The meeting will mainly take place at 10:00 AM CET, and some more at 14:00
AM CET because Alain and Florian have alas conflicting calendars.
It goes without saying I'll put my notes together and push them to the
mailing list and wiki so it can be further discussed. Expected participants
are listed as email targets.
Here is a brief overview of meeting topics :
We'll start with a short introduction and topics listing.
We'll first share information about JWT topics each of us has been involved
with, inluding
* Eclipse Summit Europe
* SCOrWare Developments Plan and Start
* PVM Updates
* STP-IM News
* What we've been doing
* ...
Then we'll share our ideas and plans, in order to ensure we stay in sync on
a higher level. This includes talking about
* Vision, notably JWT for SOA
* Technologies, ex. AgilPro, Bonita, Acceleo, GMF, BPDM
* ...
A list of actions to take will be a suitable final thing to do.

Hi all,
so shall we pin next Wednesday, 10:00 am CET as a time for our telco?
Would that be convenient for you? It would be great if some people
from Obeo and maybe also Alain would be there so we can discuss the
next steps, who does what, etc.
@Marc: Since I'm currently (until next Monday) in Montreal, its hard
for me to organize a phone number, an agenda for the telco, etc. so it
would be great, if you could send a short email around with the phone
number we shall call and a short agenda. Thanks a lot for that!!
Best regards,
Florian

Subject: [jwt-dev] AW: Web site, WE code
Hi Marc,
both days would be okay for me, but only in the morning (between 8 and
12 o'clock). Would this be convenient for you, too?
What about the other partners? Obeo, INRIA, Bull? Would one of these
two days fit you as well?
Best regards,
Florian

Hello
The 30, 31 oct, 01 nov. would be fine by me for setting up a "big
checkpoint" telco, where we would share our done, ongoing and planned
work.
What about the other core partners (Obeo, INRIA, Bull) and interested
parties (jBoss, Tibco, INT) ?
Great work committing the source code, I've just got it from CVS and
it builds and starts just fine using eclipse 3.3 "for plugin developers"
that I found here :
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/dow
nloads /release/20070927/eclipse-rcp-europa-fall-win32.zip

Hi Marc,
I added the paragraph to our web site. Was a good idea.
Please note that since a few days you can find the latest code of
the workflow editor and some example plugins that use the workflow
editor (such as an html documentation) on the Eclipse CVS.
You can download the code from
host: dev.eclipse.org
repository: /cvsroot/technology
method: pserver
user: anonymous
password: none
path: org.eclipse.jwt/we/
(or using as method extssh and your Eclipse account). Subfolder WE
contains all the projects. Please ignore the other folders besides WE
for the moment, we need to remove them again.
I think that this code and sample projects will be helpful for your
xpdl-generation as well as your other tasks.
As I will be in Canada from tomorrow on till the end of the month,
we will only be able to stay in contact via mail. But we should
already start organizing a telco for the last week in October (I'll
be available again on the 30th).
Best regards,
Florian

Hi Florian
I like the way the website looks now :)
I think we should add a short pitch about the goal of the project
first, something like the first slide of the presentation "JWT - A
complete, flexible BPM platform" (or maybe the "JWT purpose" slide ?) :
The Java Workflow Tooling project (JWT) aims to build design time,
development time and runtime workflow tools in order to provide a
complete, flexible, interoperable Business Process Management platform.
This is achieved through an extensible architecture allowing to
support many different BP representations, format languages and
execution engines. The set of JWT tools is meant to allow for
"Distribution"-like releases with specific extensions targeting
specific platforms or problems, e.g. JWT for SOA. The mission and
philosphy of JWT makes it natural complement to other Eclipse
projects,
such as the friend SOA Tools Platform Project.
(I had a look at the STP website, I admit ;)

Marc

Hi all,
please have a look at the JWT project web site at Eclipse
(www.eclipse.org/jwt <http://www.eclipse.org/jwt>). I changed it,
moved the summary to the about
site, created sub sites for each component and an area for press
releases. There you are also able to find the presentation given
yesterday at the Eclipse Summit Europe 2007 and the shown screencast.
Currently, the Desktop and WAM sites are still empty and there is
not too much text on the WE site, too. So, if you have any text
that should be included, please edit it directly (if you are one of
the
committers) or send it to me so I can include it into the web site.
Yes, Marc, I agree that we will need to make a bigger telco soon. I
also discussed this issue yesterday with Alain. Maybe we can
schedule that to the end of the month as I won't be available till 30th
anymore.
Looking forward to receiving some more information about SCOrWare
and its contributions.
Best regards,
Florian

Hi Florian
Congrats for pushing forward the JWT flag, I hope I'll be able to
be on your side on the next occasion !
Thanks for the feedback on your presentation on eclipse summit
europe, these are heart-warming details ! I look forward to seeing
your
uploaded
material.
On my side, I'll be in Lille for the SCOrWare project next week,
and this'll be the time to plan our (Open Wide) own technical tasks
in detail. I'll send info about this as soon as possible.
Finally I guess with all these progress a "big" JWT telco meeting
will be appropriate, as well as putting more information on the
wiki and newsgroup about the new course of development ;)

Hi Marc, hi all,
the presentation yesterday at the Eclipse Summit Europe went well.
There had been plenty of people (no seats available anymore in a
room that offers something like 80-100 seats - is that correct,
Alain?) and all were very interested in our project and I had to
answer many questions afterwards. I will upload the presentation
slides and the screencast I showed there to our homepage and will
then go on working on the Workflow Editor again. Please note that
the source code for WE is already available on the Eclipse CVS and
during the next week(s) we will also publish the plugins packaged
as JAR-files so everybody can download them. But probably before,
there will be a release review, I guess. Additionally, there will
be a new version of the AgilPro LiMo and Simulator available on
the sourceforge site
(http://sf.net/projects/agilpro) soon.
Best regards,
Florian

Yes, indeed. I can too discuss with Florian during the Summit,
before his speech. Looking forward to meeting Florian in
