Is that going to appear under https://jakarta.ee/specifications/persistence ?

Maybe an alternative suggestion: add this text to the Jakarta Tutorial, and link to it from there? It's quite a bit of text and goes far beyond a simple description. It looks more like a tutorial chapter if anything.
