Re: [jifa-dev] Scalable JIFA

Hi Denghui,

Hi Denghui,

Issues we are facing.

Our architecture: Processing Hprof files in different container, then generating files that we put on a different server (Report server- Single worker node) server (100GB and 5 core CPU).

1. We put 6 hprof files and the respective index files (350MB, 650MB, 15GB, 50GB, 45GB and 33GB) on the report server.
More time is required to open Leak suspect (5~7 min), Domoinator (2~3 min) and histogram (2~3 min) each time. And this will grow 100+ files and may be more than that.

2. If I put 82GB hprof and respective index files, then it will keep loading Leak suspect, Dominator for all the reports and never load.

Please let me know your convenient time to discuss I will be available in between 8:00 AM IST to 10:00 PM IST. ( In case any discussion required)

Hi Nikhil,
Very glad that you are willing to use Jifa.
Can you describe the problem you encountered in more detail? I guess the problem you encountered is the slow parsing of large files.
We may be able to set up an online meeting for simple communication.

Best,

Subject:[jifa-dev] Scalable JIFA

Hi Team,

We have a requirement where we need to process large hrpof files 80GB+ almost 20 files every day (along with 5GB to 60 GB files). And we have limited hardware resources and we can scale up to certain limits.
If you guys can help us with how JIFA can be scalable  or If you can customize JIFA with the above requirement. Our management is ready to discuss requirement and any commercial.

Regards
Nikhil Dongre
