.gitattributes processing will need a stronger relation to
AbstractTreeIterator resp. TreeWalk. It would be great if someone could
provide a patch with a "skeleton" implementation of the proposed
AttributeIterator. This will help me to fix change 1614 (attributes
support) to its needs and complete the Iterator's implementation.
