[jetty-users] odd browser? behavior
|
I wonder if anyone can point me somewhere useful, since my jetty server
in the cloud shows something fishy happening on my laptop.
I saw in my server log that my laptop fetched 3 files twice in succession:
01/13 06:20:49.810 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
expt.html to
01/13 06:20:49.982 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
view.html to
01/13 06:20:50.181 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
favicon.ico to
01/13 06:20:50.257 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
expt.html to
01/13 06:20:50.340 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
view.html to
01/13 06:20:50.482 INFO c.p.s.FileSystemResourceServlet - Mapping
favicon.ico to
However I did nothing of the kind, and 'expt.html' has been out of
service since March, and looked at only by some server farm in Prague in
recent memory. ALso, when view.html does a normal load, the other assets
loading take pages of logs, not being loaded here, so my laptop acted
like one of the weird spiders / net checkers? I see in action.
I haven't observed this since, so especially without a repeating
signature, I figure I need to wipe the laptop and start over.
Thanks for any advice,
Bill
(Laptop is a macbook pro 2012, apple no help, thinking of replacing the
machine with a non-apple.)
