Re: [jetty-users] Server push with standalone Jetty

I think it should be within our capability to unroll recursive pushes.   If we see a push against a stream that is itself a push, then we should be able to lookup the stream it's promise was sent over and repeat until a non pushed stream is found.   Either that stream will still be active, in which case it can be used for the push, or it is not active, in which case we can make the push a noop.

I can confirm that both Chrome and Firefox accept and use these pushes.
However, I agree with Tatsuhiro that the RFC seems to indicate that
Jetty, Chrome and Firefox are wrong.

I sent an email to the HTTP/2 WG asking for a clarification.
