I don't recall when this was implemented properly, but I suggest you update.
Jetty 6 is 7 (seven) years old, JDK 1.4 times.
While you're updating, go straight to Jetty 9 (JDK 7 based), you can
find 9.0.0.RC0 in Maven central.
