Thomas Mäder (IBM OTI Labs Zurich) has been working with me on Platform
Search and JDT UI since the beginning of August. Besides several bug fixes,
his contributions include search in project scope, automatic global text
replace and prototypes for a new search infrastructure including background
search and a tree-like search result view. His contributions are solid
and
of high quality.

I ask the committers of the JDT UI component for their vote to grant Thomas
commit rights for the JDT UI component. At the same a separate voting takes
place to grant Thomas commit rights for the Platform Search component.
