[jdt-ui-dev] Writing tests for jdt

I did a checkout of org.eclipse.jdt.ui.tests. It seems they are designed to
run inside a running eclipse. Are there any docs how to do this in an easy
way? There is a plugin.xml too, so have to add it as a plugin? Any
suggestion for TestCases to mimic from?
