The test suites have been deadlocking due to interactions with the CVS decorators. I suppose it's a "use at your own risk" feature :-) Actually, the background synching appears to work OK, but it still a "work in progress" feature.

I haven't seen any announcements about problems with these features. Are we 
talking lock-ups, data-loss, or what?
