[jdt-core-dev] Eclipse Incremental Compiler

Could anyone of you please help. Say Eclipse has already compiled a piece of code. And then I add a statement. Will Eclipse compile(parse) the entire source code again. Or only this new added statement and bind it together to the already generated parse tree. Thanks in advance,
