I wasn't party to any discussion regarding this particular bug, but in a
Tech Exchange regarding building IDEs WindRiver presented their solution for
a common infrustructure to be shared by many different languages. I'd bet
that discussion on this topic will be on going within the Eclipse Tools
Subproject. I'd recommend jumping on the tools-dev list to discuss this
item. I believe John Duimovich (john_duimovich at ca.ibm.com) is
