Re: [jaxrs-dev] [External] : Jakarta Tech talk on Jakarta RESTful Web Services
|
We are trying to arrange the very same talk for EclipseCon
Community Day. Would you be interested in delivering the talk?

Tanja,
Yes, I can certainly talk about Jakarta REST 4.0.
I’ll take a look at the link and submit a proposal, likely for
later in the summer.
Thank you.

Hello Santiago and
hello to Jakarta RESTful Web Services team,
Being aware of the work under way for
Jakarta RESTful Web Services specification, I am
hoping Santiago or someone else from the team would be
available and interested to do a Jakarta Tech Talk on
the specification and the team's plans for the future
release
Please refer to the thread below for additionaal
information. To submit a talk use this link

.
Many thanks!
Tanja
Hello All,
quick reminder about this request, can you
please discuss with your teams and start scheduling
Jakarta Tech Talk sessions for individual
specifications. I think it would be great to have
some of the talks scheduled though out the summer
and fall.
We had recently a Jakarta Tech Talk,
Eclipse Jetty for Servlet where plans for
Servlet 6.0 were introduced, thanks to Greg and
Chris!
Please note that this does not need to be
a full hour presentation. We should also, if I may
suggest, have the approach on introducing the spec
to hopefully new developers (overview, purpose of
the spec) and then give an update on what are the
plans for the next release.
Please keep Ivar and Hailley (cc-ed here)
in the loop as well, or reach out to us for any
questions.
Many thanks,
Tanja

Dear
Specification Project leads,
The
ask is for
all the project leads to share this request with your teams, and invite them to get involved, decide on a presenter and sign up to set up the talk.
The
talk can be an opportunity for others to get familiar with Jakarta EE specifications, if they are not already, and it can also be an invitation for new developers to get involved.
Please give this item a priority.
Thanks,
Tanja
