Yep, if you go ahead and we (at DLS) will decide whether to transition before or after the DAWN 2.3 release. I consider it low risk for us...

Hi January devs,
The recently published RC1 which will hopefully be January 1.0 very
soon contains all the source for:
EAVP upto https://github.com/eclipse/eavp/commit/2ec27bb5532d925c569c6dddb26d808029f48f2a
(current master HEAD)
ICE upto: https://github.com/eclipse/ice/commit/2d804a60a88fd3c9ede09ce183bcdd95f1464afe
(current master HEAD)
DAWNSci upto: https://github.com/eclipse/dawnsci/commit/47107ddbaa6c3b423d050829cb6892d9e5eea2f9
(master branch, version that Peter previously recommended).
So, in theory we can now start removing January plug-ins from EAVP,
ICE and DAWNSci.
Any thoughts on how to go about that?
