@scottmarlowIsn't the addition of this beans.xml file the proposed "workaround"
or "solution" for this challenge? Until it can become the real
answer in a future version of the TCK? I can appreciate that we don't want
this type of addition to be a general practice. But, it seems that in this
case, this is the suggested "fix" for the problem until the proper
solution is figured out and delivered.

I am reading:

Does ^ mean that Jakarta EE implementation
cannot add a Jakarta deployment descriptor (e.g. like a beans.xml) to a
Jakarta EE Platform TCK test archive?  Your input will help with the
discussion on [1].
