[jakartaee-spec-project-leads] Heads up on new optional features resolut

The specification committee passed the following resolution for EE10 and forward:

“RESOLUTION: The Jakarta EE Specification Committee resolves that no new optional features may be added in Jakarta EE 10 and beyond in component, Platform, or Profile specifications.”.

Specs that are submitted for ratification for the EE10 release will have a checkbox to verify that no new optional features exist in the specification.

If you feel you need a set of features that should not apply to all implementations, break up the specification to pull out those optional features and distribute a separate TCK for those features so that implementations can choose to implement the feature set, and validate their implementation.
