Re: [jakartaee-spec-project-leads] [jakartaee-platform-dev] Looking for a couple of Wave:0 and Wave:1 volunteers...

Steve,Maybe you and
Fred already figured this out, but I believe the Concurrency tests are
located here:https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jakartaee-tck/tree/master/src/com/sun/ts/tests/concurrency(I was just fishing
in this repo for other reasons and I came across these, thought you might
have an interest...)

Not
sure. There is a bunch of tests in the implementation repo but I don’t
think that is the TCK.
I
was going to hunt it down soon.

Thanks,
Steve!
I was talking with Fred over the weekend. I think he was going to
move this conversation to the CU mailing list. But, one question
we had is where the TCK resides. Is it part of the Platform TCK?
Or, is it tucked into one of the Concurrency repos? Thanks.

API is done.
Standalone Compatible Implementation is staged (I can push that to maven
central soon).
First cut of the spec document is done. I'm waiting for our graphic designer
to update some of the images.
I haven't done anything on the TCK.

Great! Thanks, Fred!
I know that the Concurrency project has their API ready, but where are
you at with regards to the Spec, TCK, and CI updates? If we're close,
then I would offer the same suggestion as I did to Mark and start on the
Draft PRs for the release.

It was just pointed out to me that this volunteerism by Mark only made
it to the Spec Project Leads list and not the rest of the Platform community...
Sorry about that!
Now that I have the complete audience again, any more volunteer Projects?
I'd like to get one or two more, please. Thanks!

Excellent! Thanks so much for volunteering, Mark.
The next step would be to create the Draft PRs for the Specification
repo.TheManaged
Beans PRis
available as an example. You will also need the corresponding Apidocs
PR since EL has an API that generates javadoc.
I took a look at your PR for the TCK. Scott Marlow has approved it,
so it's clear to be merged. But, Bill had a question about removing
old signature files. I posted a question back to the PR, but I will
also post a general question to the Platform mailing list to get that clarified.
Thanks again!

Kevin,
EL-API should be in a position to do this.
I'm currently doing a final read of the specification document. Once
that is done the only remaining task is the TCK.
A PR [1] was provided to the TCK project for EL on 3rd Feb. Once that is
merged and a standalone TCK release is available then we should have
everything required.
