Yeah, the EE4J_8 branch was used for creating the jakarta artifacts in maven.  I would consider it dead, but it's probably on a component-by-component basis.  Most components would just use master.

Hi,

Perhaps one issue with David's PRs is that they are also to the EE4J_8 branches. Wasn't that one frozen and considered an archived artefact after the Glassfish 5.1 release?

All the Jakarta EE 8 work for the various projects seem to have been done in master.

Thoughts?
