In the case of Jakarta Interceptors, only minutes ago. Jakarta Interceptors is used extensively by CDI, which is used specifically by Jakarta Security for most of the things it does.

I do think Jakarta Interceptors should be moved into CDI, and Enterprise Beans should be rebased as a set of mappings/extensions for CDI (so that there's no more demand for Jakarta Interceptors being used separately by Enterprise Beans).
