Ed,
My original mail is <”https://www.eclipse.org/lists/jakartaee-platform-dev/msg03843.html”>
I think we should split the step 8 according to the CCR type, such as,
8.
CCRs against Final Specifications –
If no action is taken, after two weeks, the certification is deemed approved, by "Lazy Consensus."
CCRs against proposed final specifications –
If there is no problem in the CCR, some of committer adds “approved-pending-ballot” label.
After the specification release ballot is concluded, remove “approved-pending-ballot” label and add “accepted” label.

Subject: Re: [jakartaee-platform-dev] [EXTERNAL] Compatibility Certification Request Review Guidance
I find it troubling that I did not see the email from Kenji Kazumura, but I did see this one from Ed Bratt, to which Kazumurasan replied.
As discussed in the Platform Committer Team meeting this morning, Ed Burns and I met and composed a preliminary CCR review guideline wiki. It is
located here.
Feel free to update as necessary if it is lacking or contains any errors.
I am waiting for my “Edit” button to appear in the wiki. I hope it does.

For CCRs against proposed final specifications, we should add more status like “approved-pending-ballot”
discussing in the following issue:

Thanks for the reminder. But I am still ignorant of where this status label would appear. Would this new label appear on the issues in the query referenced in the first step of the review guideline?

Right now, I don’t see that label anywhere. Who would add/remove the new status label?
