This issue was already identified and fixed in ejb-api.

For instance JTA protects against versions of Interceptor larger than 1.x, and of course the Jakarta Interceptor version to use has version 2. I think the EJB API and potentially others have similar issues. I'll prepare a PR for JTA at least.
