Re: [jakartaee-platform-dev] MicroProfile and JakartaEE
i'm totally with Richard and i think it would be better for both to stay separate. 
So MP would be the more flexible experimantal spec and Jakarta the stable one and maybe when something worksout to be great in the MP for Jakarta EE maybe this particular API could become a part of Jarkarta EE. 
And aslong all vendors offer both you can have the best out of two worlds.

In fact, there is far more flexibility for both projects if they remain separate.   A "Jakarta EE Profile for MP" be the best answer.  We don't even need permission from MP nor would MP need to consult with Jakarta EE - although working together is ideal.
