Let me announce that the Jakarta Batch TCK v2.1.5 has been staged for release.

 

I know there hasn’t been much discussion lately, so there probably doesn’t need to be too much of a review period.

I will leave this open for one week and then ask the spec committee to promote the TCK to become the official Jakarta Batch 2.1 TCK.

 

The significant changes are described in the changelog.md in:

https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/726  (currently a draft)

 

Also there were some minor changes too you can view via:

https://github.com/jakartaee/batch-tck/compare/2.1.1..c241d0549b8826b6fa64a4c0a5fca178fff659ac#diff-b724a40707ccba2358e76c6e2ef8df7614c37e6693ca6bcb2d104cc80c836061

 

The official (EFTL-licensed) zip is staged at:

https://download.eclipse.org/jakartabatch/tck/eftl/jakarta.batch.official.tck-2.1.5.zip

 

In addition the Maven release artifacts are staged at:

https://jakarta.oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/staging/    

(so for example you could test by adding that repository to your pom, etc.)

 

Also after the release is officially promoted, I’ll release to Maven Central and do the GitHub release/tag. 

It’s also encouraged to update the original certification request so I’ll do that at some point too.
