It relates to Jakarta EE because I ran into this problem with all the Jakarta EE GitHub projects and thought that if other Jakarta EE people were running into it too someone might have a solution.

Ah ha!  I figured it out!

I have the User-Agent Switcher add-on installed (to allow testing web user interfaces with simulated mobile browser settings).  Selecting "Firefox on Mac OS" is not the same as selecting the option for the default User-Agent.

My mistake.

GitHub says it no longer supports old versions of Firefox.

Firefox 71.0 is the newest version available.
