Re: [jakarta.ee-community] November 19th 2019, monthly email update for Jakarta EE community

Hello -

Oracle has made a number of public statements about its intent to provide a Jakarta EE compatible implementation.   In September we announced a beta program for WebLogic Server 14.1.1, which is intended to support Java EE 8 and Jakarta EE 8.

Standard Oracle safe harbor statement applies[1].

Thanks

Will

I can't make any comments regarding the dates, but at the same time I can share that there is strong interest and commitment from those vendors to have Jakarta EE compatible versions.

Best,
