Hi,

You should be able to inject the JSR 375 SecurityContext into a CDI managed JPA event listener. User principals can be obtained from there.

I have a idea of new feature. We are able to audit entities before add, update, delete, but we are not able to get principal name from CDI/EJB. It would be useful if the principal name can be available with injection. I mean when the entity is under audit, then we are able to link that with principal name programmatically. Am I wrong?
