Wouldn't this be an obvious one for Ivar, given he is from Norway?🤔😏

Since the conference is not just on Java EE or Jakarta EE I asked Filip whom I just accompanied at a great JSR 385 talk (which he already gave in JavaZone) at OOP here in Munich, if he would also consider proposing something there. JavaBin seems involved, so they know what he did at JavaZone and if they liked it we may do it together or if it is a problem for me (too far away) he could still do it on his own.

I gave demos at Eclipse DemoCamp Trondheim several times, so it is a nice city although it could be a bit chilly in October.

Do you cover expenses by any chance? That will make life a lot easier in getting approval. Also, I'll need at least one talk accepted related to Azure (in addition of course to covering Jakarta EE and MicroProfile).

Hi all,

The Trondheim Developer Conference[1] will take place on the 28th of October this year and they are looking for speakers. It's an established one day event with about 700 attendees and covers a wide range of topics related to software development. This year they would really like talks on the subject of Jakarta EE.

It's a great conference and you'll have the chance to visit the city of Trondheim[2] at a time of the year when the weather is usually not dreadful. There's a lot to do and see if you decide spend the weekend.

I'm happy to answer any questions.
