[iot-wg] Launching Open IoT Challenge 4.0

Hello everyone,

The Open IoT Challenge 4.0 has been announced! Last year's Challenge was very successful and so we are doing it again.

The Challenge encourages IoT enthusiasts and developers to build innovative solutions for IoT using open standards and open source technology. The top 10 submissions will be supported with hardware development kits and the final winners will receive special prizes. A great big thank you to Bitreactive, CONTACT Software, Eurotech, Red Hat, and Sierra Wireless for sponsoring this edition of the challenge!

The submission deadline for solution proposals is November 13, 2017. Participants will have until March 15, 2018 to build their IoT solutions and the winners will be announced at the end of March.

Please encourage your communities to submit a solution proposal! Here is a sample email and graphic you can use to promote the challenge. You can also retweet tweets from @EclipseIoT.
