Can I personally plead with everyone involved to not use the word 
"foundation" in this manner? IBM's IoT Foundation is not a naming 
practice to emulate IMHO.

Typically in the Eclipse community, people would use "platform" rather 
than "foundation" in this context. "Stack" might be another useful 
alternative. "Foundation" is rather over-loaded in the open source 
context :)
