Hi everyone, It’s the end of August and everyone will be back at work soon. Here are the highlights of what has been going on in our community this month. New ProjectsUnide https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/unide The Eclipse Unide project provides a simple server and multiple client implementations of the Production Performance Management Protocol (PPMP). The implementations persist the payload in a database and displays it through a simple user interface. IoFabric https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/iofabric The ioFabric set of technologies is a fog computing layer that can be installed on any hardware running Linux. Once installed, it provides a universal runtime for microservices to run on the edge. In addition to a common runtime, ioFabric also provides a set of useful services including a message bus, dynamic configuration of the microservices, and remote debugging.
