[iot-wg] Promoting conferences

In the last couple of days there has been a number of emails sent to 
this list promoting different conferences. I would like to keep this 
mailing list focused on the activities of the IoT working group and not 
a list for general promotion.

However, I wanted to see how others felt about these types of emails. I 
sometimes will send an email about an IoT conference but it is always an 
event that where we are in some way participating.

Thoughts?
