[iot-pmc] Californium 2.4.0 released
|
Dear Californians,
The version 2.4.0 is released and is available at the Eclipse Repo and on maven central.
Changes in DTLS:
• handshake messages now supports multiple fragments in one record, RFC 6347, 4.2.3
• handshake message retransmission back off with smaller record size, RFC 6347, 4.1.1.1
• handshake message retransmission implementation moved from DTLSConnector to Handshaker.
• MTU clean up
• RFC 8449, record size limit
• interoperability tests with libcoap+tinydtls
• add experimental/early access support for EdDSA with java 15, or external library net.i2p.crypto.eddsa.
Changes in CoAP:
• Failover of transfer to blockwise for 4.13
• Add caching and readme to Proxy2. Update guava to 28.2-android
Introduction of maven-toolchains-plugin with new build options see https://github.com/eclipse/californium#build-using-maven
Additionally, some bugs have been fixed, please refer to the reflog.
You may fetch the selected binary core artefacts from Maven Central [2] or all binary artefacts, including Californium.Tools and Californium.Actinium, from the Eclipse Repository [3].
