Alex,

from a technical viewpoint this is ok. However, the LGPL is not by default
deemed compatible with the EPL.

You may want to refer to [1] for a discussion around the same issue (with an
older version of the Maria DB driver).

PLease let us know if Maria DB should be considered a works-with only or if
this is in fact the "default" JDBC driver that you will ship.
