+1, I didn't see that when checking for the most recent version today :) Let's
wait another day and re-target this one for Karaf 4.0.8.

There are no full fledged plans at the moment. I want to see how far we come in
the Kura 3.0 release cycle.

I would **love** to go for Karaf features or KARs. However at the moment this
is far out of reach with Kura. Due to numerous technical issues.

So what we can do right now is offer a customized Karaf distribution. As a
first step we only have a set up build files, but I would like to actually
offer downloadable artifacts. Something like a "kura-karaf.zip".

I do know that we will need a whole bunch of dependencies for that. I browsed
through them before starting this CQ.

Luckily most of them are either Apache or Eclipse projects.
