The bug has been resolved. However, this issue does not seem related to the path, as the path to the application within the VisIt folder appears to be correct. Rather, Edward is using VisIt 2.10.1, which has a known issue​ causing it to not work with EAVP. I'll file a new issue in EAVP's repo to make this information easier to find.

So Mac installations always prove to be a little more challenging.  Here is what the VisIt installation looks like on my Mac ...




So here is how I configured it in the ICE user preferences ...



When I hit apply I get a connection error.




Thoughts?
