Well, the instructions will be applicable once the CQs are approved. In the meantime, there’s probably not a whole lot of people out there dying to build ICE
from scratch. I don’t think we should have totally removed the information from the page though…

As a side note, I think the build instructions need to be updated to include HDF Java, not HDF5. HDF5 should only be required if you are building ICE IO. (HDF Java includes pre-compiled versions of HDF5 for its own use, but I'm not sure if they are statically
linked.)
