[ice-dev] Note about the wiki

This is kind of trivial in the grand scheme of things, but I’ve been making it a habit of naming generic-sounding wiki pages starting with “ICE”, for example “ICE Frequently Asked Questions”. We share the wiki now with every Eclipse project, so it might be a good idea to use specific page names so it’s clear which project it belongs to (and also so we’re not jerks about taking generic page names).

 

When you’re linking to a wiki page, you can modify the link text so not every link has to say “ICE” in it like this:

 

[[ICE Frequently Asked Questions|Frequently Asked Questions]]

The first part is the internal wiki article, and the second part is the actual link text.

 

I don’t necessarily do this for every single page, just use your judgment if you think a page sounds kind of generic.
