Well,
resetting my target and launch configuration 20 (not 19, not
21, but 20) times solved the trick… *sigh*
I think I
noticed earlier that the org.eclipse.ice.viz.service bundle
was not added to the launch configuration (with auto-start
set to true), so the OSGi service was never started.
However, I wasn't sure if that was just something that I
messed up in the branch I'm working in or not.
