I am talking about the new rest interface like:
http://forge.xleap.apmoller.net:8000/rest/nodes/generic_builder_anvil

which gives me
<ns2:node>
  <name>generic_builder_anvil</name>
  <description/>

  <mode>EXCLUSIVE</mode>
</ns2:node>

It matches the documentation here

What I would really like to know is how to extend the ssh-slaves
plugin to expose the properties needed to manage a ssh slave
