Re: [hono-dev] Hono CLI proposal part 1 - consumer

While I understand your desire to improve the user experience with a CLI tool, I also understand Sebastian's concern regarding "re-inventing the wheel". It is not our mission to circumvent Windows users' general problem of lacking decent tools for development. That said, I consider a simple grep-like filtering mechanism useful but I would really try to restrict this to the bare minimum.

Hi Sebastian,

thanks for commenting - this was my opinion before the hackathon as well.
But then there were machines with windows where there were no Unix tools installed, but Java of course.

So I decided to propose an implementation that has the most obvious filtering possibilities itself.

Unix tools for filtering still have their value where available - but they are not necessary anymore.

Best regards
Karsten
