Brian has offered to take over release planning and other engineering
coordination roles on the the Higgins project. Brian has already been
attending higgins calls every week and helping Paul chase down
dependencies, etc. He has reported nine bugs (e.g. 222143, 223258 etc.).
For several months Brian has been coordinating Higgins development work
including Higgins builds, improving Higgins wiki doc, for the FF-embedded
selector solution. Brian Walker has 20+ years of technology experience.
Since the late 90's his career has focused in enterprise software market.
He has lead virtually all lifecycle aspects of product software business to
Fortune 500 companies. From his experience at Silknet (customer service
solutions), Kana (enterprise CRM) and Fast Search & Transfer (enterprise
search) Brian has lead teams in Customer Support, Professional Services,
Training, Sales Operations, Product Management and Product Development
functions.


The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded.  The voting will continue
until either all 20 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Brian Walker must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.
