RE: [higgins-dev] C++ SOAP libraries

I wasn’t clear enough. For IE we’re using this architecture where HBX launches a separate i-card selector. The SOAP libraries are required by the C++ i-card selector, not HBX per se. -Paul

So for IE support we did not have to use any C/C++ code

[higgins-dev] C++ SOAP libraries

For the IE version of the Higgins Browser Extension we need to choose a C++
library to work with WSDL based web services. We found several C++ libraries
(see below) but the licensing situation isn't great:

1. http://wsdlpull.sourceforge.net/ - License: GNU Library or Lesser General
Public License (LGPL) (see attached)

2. http://csoap.sourceforge.net/ - Not found license

3. http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~engelen/soap.html  - License:
http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~engelen/soap.html

4. http://tinyxpath.sourceforge.net/  -  License:
http://tinyxpath.sourceforge.net/

Does anyone know of any C++ libraries with licenses closer to EPL? (e.g.
Apache?)

-Paul
